- Corporate management services:
Under corporate management agreements, Booker Tate assumes full responsibility for managing the technical and commercial aspects of the operations of the client sugar company. This is the core business of Booker Tate;
- Technical services:
Under technical service agreements, Booker Tate acts in an advisory role for the client sugar company. Such services can extend to any aspect of field, factory, financial control, management and information systems, human resource services and training and developing staff;
- Engineering project management:
Under engineering project management agreements, the Booker Tate role of Clients Representative/Engineer encompasses the design, specification, procurement and contract management aspects of major sugar projects, including new projects and rehabilitation or expansion of existing projects;
- Training and development:
Booker Tate has extensive experience in the training and development of staff both in country and overseas;

These have been undertaken in virtually all countries in which sugar is produced;
- Privatisation and planning studies:
In the last decade, many nationalised sugar industries have taken steps towards privatisation. Booker Tate has assisted and advised government parastatal organisations, private investor groups and sugar companies in several countries on this process;
